fun things to do when you have mono

mononucleosis is a virus and i have it. my spleen is enlarged and i get so tired after doing the simplest things. here are some mono-friendly things i've been doing that require little to no energy:

1. sleeping
2. going to work and being completely useless
3. making my boyfriend bring me sandwiches and strawberries and other food items while i remain in a reclining position
4. reading magazines because BOOKS ARE FOR THE HEALTHY
5. spending literally hours adjusting the layout/template of this blog in such a way that i find it both aesthetically pleasing (glittery dolphins saying "i love you" of course) and easy to read (dark font on light background xox)
6. looking at cool shit on tumblr and wishing i was a supermodel.
7. thinking about starting a painting someday maybe
8. attempting to do crafts that i found on a website created for teenage girls and getting out all the supplies but ultimately deciding to take a nap instead.
9. watching the entire series of twin peaks on netflix because i have netflix again y'all

Welcome 2 Teen Dolphin a rad new blog by Lizzie Drexler

hey y'all.

i've been considering starting a new ~*blog*~ for quite some time because it's a kewl and semi-productive way to occupy my mind. then one day my coworker was like "lizzie hay gurl do you have a blog still?" and i was like NO, CRY ME A RIVER but to be honest that's when i knew it was time to make one.

bear with me please, i haven't had a not-specifically-themed blog since 2009 and that was before i learned how to write in complete sentences.

after MUCH DELIBERATION, i ended up choosing teen-dolphin as my url even though i am neither a teen nor a dolphin. hopefully real teen dolphins will stumble upon this and think it's cool. also don't forget to enjoy my shitty-quality .jpg rocky horror font title. you're welcome.
